Christian Lacroix (date of birth - 16th of May 1951, place of birth - France and astrological sign - Taurus). Childhood of the future clothes design genius went in a rather exciting way, it was so multisided - the Camargue beaches, Gallo-Roman ruins and WWII bombings, various opera festivals, museums exhibitions, different books. He adored Oscar Wilde and the Beatles, to his beloved cities belonged: Venice and Barcelona. But, Christian studied at the University of Montpellier. Jean-Paul Gaultier is a very popular French designer, no doubts, it stands in one row with Galliano, Dior, Lacroix and other designers, which really contributed in the development of a fashion world.

It is amazing, but Jean-Paul didn’t get a special education, but he was really talented and adore clothes, so when he was young, he sent his drawings to famous couture stylists and good luck smiled him - in 1970 he became an assistant of Pierre Cardin.
