You can't wear Valenki without Galoshi (rubber shoe on top ob Valenki). Valenki very slippery and will get wet in snow without Galoshi. Galoshi must be very shiny- taken of Valenki and cleaned after every use. You have to dry Valenki withought Galoshi every day. It’s scary and crazy foot wear. They are extremely warm, and really comfortable. I came across an article recently that called valenkis the "new Uggs." Personally, I like valenki much more than Uggs.
