Jenna Bush and her fiancé Henry Hager (a politician) married on May 10. Despite numerous suggestions about really huge and tremendous White House wedding, everything went more than simple at the Bushes’ 1,600-acre Prairie Chapel ranch in Texas. It was really a SMALL wedding.
Everything went away from cameras and paparazzi, without ado and antique furniture of the White House. Now, it is not a secret that Jenna prefers casual over taffeta. There were not more than 200 friends and relatives, simple Oscar de la Renta wedding gown with a small train, more than natural look, a twin sister, as the maid of honor, nice sapphire and diamond ring…
Sorry, for telling this, but to my mind, it looked more as a farmer daughter wedding. And, I am not against private and family relations and perfectly understand that wedding is something completely intimate, that must be only between the closest friends and relatives. But… something was missed. May be it was lack not only of chic, it was lack of charm as well.
Anyway, congratulations go out to the newly married couple ’cause it is always great when two loving hearts find each other!
Your suggestions??? )))

Thanks for posting these pics - I’ve been dying to take a look.
I love the Oscar De La Renta dress but her sister and mother’s looks not so much.
ReplyThanks for sharing these pics. I liked her dress but like the above poster said, not her sisters or mom’s. I’m happy for her!
ReplyHer mom’s dress is so frumpy. I do like Jenna’s gown though … simply and lovely.
ReplyDear Friends, thanks for your comments ))) And I wish Jenna and her husband all the best!
