In our last article you had a chance to review the Spring and Summer collections of designers Christian Dior, Chanel, and Dolce Gabbana. If those three designers didn’t have anything to fit your style, we’re sure that you’ll find what your looking for from designers Gucci, Valentino, and Givenchy.

Gucci modeled by Frida Giannini:

  • The fifties big-skirted silhouette, patent-leather accessories.
  • Boyish checked shirts.
  • The odd little cropped biker jackets.
  • Combination of black, white and very bright yellow in oversized flower-print mini dresses.
  • High-waist dresses with broad belts and the occasional integral shoulder strap, ending with a huge fashion house logo fasten.
  • New Frida trouser.

Valentino:

  • Opulence of dresses (short and sugar-pink, short and one-sleeved shift, long evening gowns).
  • Wide belts, high waist, one-shoulder stripe.
  • Combination of yellow and lilac.
  • Polka dots.
  • Eau-de-nil chiffon with the flirtatious décolleté and swirly skirts.
  • Flower prints.
  • Evening dresses. I vote for in the vibrant Valentino red.

StyleStarStyle.com is having a post-Xmas sale where you can save between 50-75% on bags from Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Balenciaga, Dior, Hermes, Gucci, Fendi, and Prada. If you’ve got a girlfriend or wife, now would be the time to buy that Valentine’s gift as the sale ends on February 20th, 2008. Use code BEMINE to save an additional 40% off!

Oh I love this! So articulate and well accented with pictures. I absolutely loved the Valentino show. Did you like his haute couture this season? I thought it was divine…
xx

Thank you so much! I highly appreciate your comment. I completely agree with you, it was his last collection, but I think our celebs and other VERY rich people will admire his dresses many seasons
