To tell the truth, I have never heard about such a company and have never seen their clothes either. But this foreign country has changed my attitude to the world around and I decided to open new horizons. So, after making such a decision I found out more about the Rip Curl Company and for the first time thought, that it is all about traveller’s equipment, but than I realized, that they make clothes for active people to feel themselves comfortable. It goes without saying, that Rip Curl, first of all, is a sport clothes designing company, they are making surfing wetsuits for more than 30 years, has invented 2 new technologies for wetsuits producing: Elastomax and SlickSkin, also, they design very popular nowadays Mountainwear. But, nevertheless, I found something for myself…
Everything started many years ago, in 1969, it was just a beginning of surf popularity, if to be precise this kind of sport was just beginning to appear. There were no special equipment, clothes etc. for it and two men set a surf company. So, a backyard garage became a surfboard factory. For the first time, they make exceptionally surfboards, but, then two men made a decision that changed their life – began producing wetsuits. Of course, in comparison to the present wetties, those were primitive, but it was just a beginning of the Rip Curl epoch. 
Until 1973 Rip Curl was leader on the Australian market of wetties, the Company begun holding special Pro Sports events, some of them (namely the first ones) were not very exciting, but some were really interesting and, by the way, they were growing and gaining popularity each year together with Rip Curl clothes and equipment. Nowadays, the Company has slightly changed, not even changed but extended sphere of its products, not it produces not only surfing equipment but also fashionable accessories, swimming-suits, sport and even sexy apparel. As for me I adore their belts, I bought one in Ukraine and now found out that there are a lot of Rip Curl magazines in my own country, but the belt is still wonderful.
