There is a fashion tip for every kind of a person, be it tall, short, fair or dark. In case, you are short in height and wish to look tall, then here are some fashion tips for you.

horizontal stripes

Horizontal Lines: Make sure to notice where your jacket ends and if there are horizontal lines on it, then the lines should end at the slimmest points of your body, to make you look taller.

Heels: Heels play an important role in making a person look taller or shorter. Just a small heel will do to make you look taller and slimmer, so avoid wearing flats if you wish to look taller.

Empire Waists: Empire waist is a style that is considered as a blessing for petite women. In empire waists, a short woman always tends to look younger, slimmer and taller. Even pregnant women like wearing them during pregnancy.

Halle Empire Waist

Avoid Bright Clothes: Short women are also advised to avoid wearing bright light color tops, as they tend to make them look shorter. Moreover, clothes with vertical lines should also be avoided, as the person looks shorter in them.

I’m, what I would qualify as, a short woman, and I never knew wearing bright/light colored tops was a no-no. I wear them all the time and don’t really think I look any shorter (I’m 5’3 1/2″). Whether they do or don’t make me look shorter, I’ll take my chances and just pair it with my highest heels, because I adore bright colors!

I'm so happy for Angelina. She deserves to get married because she's a good person. Before I thought she hates marriages. Good thing that Brad change his perceptions.

agree! if you have a good figure and can carry it off why not? though I do think that mini skirts on over 45s is a bit too young..I have 2 daughters aged 25 and 30,and am told I look about 40..but still wouldn't wear a mini..
