Tips on Tying Your Scarf and Looking Smart

Many ladies have this misconception that the need and use of a scarf arises only when it is winter but that is not true actually. You can wear a scarf anytime you want when you are going out but for that you will first have to see that quality and the type of the scarf matches the season and also the occasion.

There are certain quite simple tricks of wearing a scarf and also some points to remember while selecting a particular scarf for a purpose. Check out what handy tips are there to look smart and elegant in a scarf:


You can use your scarf as a hair accessory ad for that you will need a square scarf in a large size. Fold it joining the corners making it look like a triangle and then tie your hair by it. Let the scarf lie down on your shoulder to add a smarty look.


You can also use the scarf for simply covering your head by tying a knot under your chin that protects your hair from hair while you are riding a bike, surfing if are travelling by a convertible.


A scarf can be used to add an intelligent look to you when you are getting ready for a client meeting in somewhere out like in a restaurant. You can choose a silk scarf for the purposes and wrap it around your neck with your business suit like a blazer and skirt and with trousers. The steps on tying the knots of the scarf would be to first wrapping the scarf around the neck from front to back in a way that the two ends comes forward. Then tie a loose knot by the two ends and adjust those to make one rest on the other, one on the top of the tie and the other on the bottom of the tie.

For looking very casual and simply look cool enough to go out, you can get the silk scarf and wrap it around your neck loosely. You can pair a loose worn scarf with anything whether you are in jeans, skirt or in a frock. Using a scarf pin will let you handle it easily with no need to keep it right.


Wearing a half fold scarf is very easy in which girls and boys anybody looks really smart and comfy. For getting that perfect knot, first fold the scarf in half and place it around your neck. Then take the end with two parts of the scarf and holding it together pass it through the hole of the other end of the folded scarf. Pull it and place it comfortably on your neck.

There is another chic way of tying the scarf for which you can get a linen scarf and first, wrap it around your neck from the front to back. While doing so, leave some slack in the scarf so that it come around the front of your neck and once again wrap it which will bring the two end forward. Lastly, make two knots by the ends.
