Hello, Janice! First of all, thanks for your comment and then, I think you are perfectly right while saying that everyone wants a piece of the dream, so, Yurman realizes dreams of most women, ’cause unfortunately not everybody can buy expensive jewelry.
And what about longing for replicas and jewelry in general? Sometimes, it can be a kind of compensation, when a person is lack of attention, friends, love etc. or just wants other people to notice her or him.
It goes without saying, that jewelry is not a substitute for these vital and miraculous feelings, but many people do think so.
But, as a rule, we just want look brighter, more beautiful and attractive, so we wear jewelry.
And as for me, it is a nice present, ’cause just imagine: instead of a ring your beloved one bought your cakes, actually, a lot of cakes, I mean he spent this sum for cakes. So, either they will spoil or you become extremely fat.

I am intrigued by how one designer comes up with a design and how it’s then dubbed as “rich” persons style of jewelry. That’s the one and only reason it’s replicated after all. Everyone wants a piece of the dream, and how simple to be able to get it by an adornment that sends a message. But again, I keep wondering, what is it about white metal, twisted rope, and checkerboard faceting colored stones (surrounded by cz’s, diamonds or not) spell Rich? And then, what is it about women that we like buying things that everyone else has or covets and how to these things get assigned their meanings?
Just a few philosophical questions …any thoughts?
