Greetings! In bags, look for tribal prints, worn brown leather bags and smaller bags (clutches). In shoes, I think the gladiator sandals and heels are in for the summer! Also, metallic flat sandals, wooden platforms, tall wedgies and leather flip flops! Please enter me in your magnificent drawing. Thanks very much…..Cindi

YELLOW!! I just read that’s it’s the hardest color to wear, but it is so cute and fresh and I want more of it in my closet.

I’m gonna have to say the Stringless G String, that cause no panty lines. For those thin clothes of summer. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win.

Thanks inviting me to join the contest! I think the most fashionable thing for the summer/must have item [aside from an excellent SPF and fantastic comfortable shoes]is a fabulous camera bag. Something like a little orange case from Hermes would make for an excellent way to be chic and always styling no matter what the rest of the outfit looks like.

I think the hottest thing for Summer 2008 is following the trends in the Sex & the City movie: waist-cinching belts, gladiator high-heel sandals (a la Dior Extreme shoes) and anything worn by Sarah Jessica Parker in the movie and in real life. Everybody wants to live in that movie…what could be hotter than that!!

Thanks Angel for including me in this contest! For me, I would have to say the hottest thing for Summer 08 is the overwhelming floral trend. While it’s no new concept, since it emerges with the warm weather each year, I love the bohemian take on it this time around. To ensure that the surplus of flowers never come across as too sugary sweet, I’m digging the studded belts, wavy hair and masculine gladiators that have been accompanying the floral trend this summer. Thanks again for including me! xoxo

I believe the Hottest thing/accessory of Summer 2008 is the small Dooney and Bourke hobo bag! I love it – it’s a burnt orange color and the perfect size for cosmetics, a little brush, and cell phone. Carrying it does not hurt my shoulder whatsoever. I also love my trendy little black eyelet sack dress by Vera Wang. I love it with platform patent leather sandals! Thank you!

Summer 2008 is going to be marked with big bright bags (all kinds), gladiator sandals, the maxi dress, high ponytails, neon bright lips, plum nail polish, the color yellow, a-line mini dresses, gold hoop earrings and exotic vacations. Whew! What a summer!

I’m going to nominate bright colors as the IT trend for 2008. It’s lovely to see not only clothes but also bags, shoes, belts etc in electric blue, yellow, bright green… it’s great to be able to choose from different colors this year, so everyone can choose what goes best with their style and natural coloring, asopoosed to having to find a specific shade of one color that is proclaimed as the “it” color for the season. What a welcome change!

I think that stone jewelry is all the rage this summer. I have been to a few events this and last month, all of which were featuring necklaces, earring, and bracelets made of precious gems and stones. It’s very earthy, yet elegant!

I think it’s the white or mostly white bag. It looks awesome and doesn’t make you feel too warm just looking like black or dark bags do.

Ok so this summer has been full of “must-have” items. It’s just been overflowing with them. Where to being? :P

Alright first, knee-high [english] riding boots. Hello?! Who ISN’T wearing them??? Rachel Bilson is a prime example, along with almost any other female celeb. Can you blame them though, these boots are to die for.

Secondly, a plain tee. “Hello early 90’s I welcome you back with open arms.” Can’t help it I love going back to basics. Simple ‘n yet so versatile …dress it up, dress it down, ‘n make it chic!

Also, things to be on the look out for in the coming months (especially fall) WIDE LEG JEANS; they’re coming back, mark my words. Nichole Richie is a bit ahead of the game along with the Olsen’s, they’ve been sporting theirs all summer long. Oh ‘n jean jackets have hit the scene a bit too, so don’t count them out just yet.

Keep your eyes pealed this summer is filled with fabulous style treasures.

I think the hottest item this summer would most definately have to be denim. People are wearing it in such new and fesh ways lately that it is being completely reinvented. From denim dresses, belts, and jumpers, this material is extending its reach far beyond your normal jeans.

I’m thinking it is the peasant top… comfy and will keep you cool on those hot summer days. Also, sheer fabric seems to be trendy, so perhaps something along that line as well?

Bold colours, maxi dresses, wide legs pants, polka dots, gladiators, SATC belt, oversized sunnies to wear with maxi dresses.

I’m afraid Fall will break all of this (I haven’t seen much of Fall shows, but what I saw were mostly black.)
