And this American recording artist has managed to shut the mouth of the people who believe that she is a fashion wreck by being the recipient of the Stylemaker Award at the 13th annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards. She is a lady of great style and courage. At a concert on The Fame Ball Tour she performed live appearing half nude wearing just transparent plastic bubble dress.
The ACE President Karen Giberson complimented this fashionista saying that Lady Gaga is well-appointed as far as accessories are concerned. Each time you expect to see her in a typical style, there she is again donning something exceptional and inimitable. According to MTV, Lady Gaga will receive this honor from her ace designer friend Marc Jacobs. The ACE awards are being held at the Cipriani 42nd Street in NYC. The other Awards beneficiaries include Diane von Fürstenberg for the Accessory Visionary Award, Barbie as a Fashion Icon, and British fashion house Burberry as Brand of the Year.
