Next to the title Thompson gets an exclusive contract with CoverGirl cosmetics constituted by Elite Model Management. She is now the cover girl for the Seventeen’s magazine.

she is a fat pig. anya deserved to win so badly, she is so what modelling is about, pretty, high fashion and NO BOTTOM 2 APPEARANCES. whitney however had 4. and the judges eliminated every girl she was in the bottom 2 with, including katarzyna. How unfair!! she got 4 chances!!
jus cuz whitney was in the bottom 2 four times, doesnt mean that she wasnt top model material…
Eva , Danielle & Whitney Thompson (winners of ANTM) all were in da bottom 2 twice…nd datz da most in ANTM history…
all other winners have been in da bottom two at least once, with the exception of jaslene..

well i think myself now as a plus size model i am so happy for whitney she has opened up doors for many people including me so if anyone has any bad saying there just hating. naturually me being from south america(brazil)we have curves its not all about the body. dont be surprised WHEN PLUS SIZE takes over the modeling industry.

Well, Mariliz, I agree with you on all points. One reason why I’m so passionate about this is because I also come from a Brazilian family, and curves are celebrated, and if you look like a stick, something is seriously wrong with you. Whitney has paved the way for so many young girls who have curves but are teased by kids or whatever, and soon plus size will take over the modeling industry.
btw, its nice to see someone from Brazil stickin up for the curvy girls…im not alone..lol

I am 48 years old and I admire Whitney. I am her height and her size and am now just beginning to be proud of my body because of watching her win the competition. This young, gorgeous woman has inspired me and I thank her. A size 10 is not fat or chubby, it is healthy and fit.

I’m spending the weekend with my parents, who flew in from New Brunswick on Wednesday, my brother who recently came back from Texas, and my boyfriend! We’re going to check out a huge new mall and go out for dinner tonight, then relax tomorrow.

i honestly think that no matter what size whitney is she is an inspiration to all girls. if she can win ANTM and be successful then anyone can. she plus size and she is accepted in the harsh industy. there are many girls that look up to her now because before all they saw were the super skinny models. most young girls that want to model think they are too fat and really arent and seeing whitney become a model now should open up their eyes so they see they arent fat and then they can go after what they want. size doesnt matter*
