Have a look at the following shoes, they are not only unusual and funny, they are really stylish and very hot. To my mind these shoes from Viktor & Rolf can be named everything but boring. These shoes are not only one of the most evident representatives of “cute and strange shoes,” that are so of the moment this summer, they are about the latest shoe trends as well. Ruffles is the main detail here.

Summer 2009 sandals

I can’t explain why, but to me they look like perfect shoes for a marine-themed party or ideal shoes for a mermaid. There is something sea-like about them. These ruffles look like a giant shell and as to me there is simply too much of everything in these shoes. They don’t look natural, I can say they look too sophisticated.

If you still like them, you can get them here for -$1,049 (ouch!)
