Marriage is always great and so thrilling… And before enjoying these photos I was ready to bet that all brides are beautiful and all wedding dresses are great. But, this Bridal Fashion Show 2008 made me change my mind, and I perfectly know what to wear while making one of the most important steps in my life… (of course, if this dress won’t burn holes in my pockets…)

Today, I would like to share with you photos of dresses from 3 great designers. The first one is Carolina Herrera.

It goes without saying, that her dresses were elegant and touching. Herrera’s dresses are for real princesses that are ready to become Queens. Thus, we can enjoy a plenty of various ruffles, satin sashes,  white palette, ribbons and organza.

Oscar de la Renta paid homage to white and ivory tones together with soft grays. What I like the most about his dresses, they are sparking, in the literal meaning, shiny crystals are embellished the top of the gowns, thus, making them, elegant, sophisticated and still refined and chic. These dresses are real glam dresses. Ivory silk strapless gowns with crystal embroidered belts make me think about marriage.

And the last portion of dresses comes from Reem Acra… If you are gaga over whimsical wedding dresses, you are welcome here. This woman offers a unique vision of your special day. So strange and unusual! Why? Because we are talking about vintage… It seems to me that she is telling us: have fun and relax, take it easy!
