Hi Everyone!!! How’s it going? Hope everything is more than fine and even better than I can imagine. Today my review will look a little bit illogical, just random spring thoughts, hope, you will forgive me. )))

The first and the most interesting thought is about my beloved friend Couture In The City and Mother’s Day, thanks to them we perfectly understand that this day comes only once a year, and you have to choose only the best  Mother Day gifts.

Now, hello from my friend ChicIntuition blog. Thanks to them we can’t but find out who Miranda Kerr is. She is a cool model dating Orlando Bloom of course! And sometimes her ensembles are charming, for example this one – Miranda Kerr Chic.

Then, as usual I found new friends, the first one is Tiger Tem blog. It is hot, fresh and full of great ideas. Very inspirational. I like their article about one of the most long-awaited movie Sex in the City. Great!!!

And the last great blog for today – Because I am Addicted and their incredible photo that has no relation to ChicStories but I like it, hope it will put smile on your faces!!!

Well, once again I will talk about our celebrities, their styles, clothes and collections.

Let me start from one of my favourite blogs – Couture In The City Blog and share with you photos of jeans from the latest collection of David and Victoria Beckham. Great jeans with their traditional dvd logo star, but forget about wearing these jeans if you are not as slim as Victoria is. They will mercilessly reveal all your rolls of fat. So, stay tuned and find more while reading Dvb Jeans by David and Victoria Beckham.

You know, I like yellow, especially in this season, when everybody around seems to be yellow and green and violet… So bright! I would like to present, cool things from Banana republic I found thanks to a great Blog Omiru.

And the last thing that is worth our attention – a down-to-earth look for the afternoon from Katie Holmes and Fabsugar.

Women shops

Hi, again it is time to share with you info about great online fashion shops. Today I would like to present MyChicThings, that belongs to one of my favourite online shops. I can’t get enough of this shop. It presents a huge selection of fine girly items and incredible gifts. Be sure, here you will find exceptionally unique accessories and apparel.
What I like the most about MyChicThings:

  • extremely convenient and easy to use site. It is simply impossible to miss something here, if you want to buy candles, you perfectly see where to click in order to enjoy the full range of candles. The same situation with chic jewelry, apparel and the rest of things;
  • interactive functions. Oh, it is incredible, it seems that this site is a person I am talking to, and this person is alive, vivid and so friendly. I mean the site contains tons of various plug-ins, making our lives funnier and brighter. For example, a fancy counter, showing how many customers are online now;
  • great assortment. Here you can find everything starting from belts, soap and hats… I have already found my beloved Ciao Bella Hand & Body Cream. I have fallen in love with this product so much, that I absolutely can’t live without it;

Hand and Body cream

  • flexible system of discounts. No comments, it is simply great, I don’t know a single person, hating discounts!
  • payment. Support all the major systems of payment;
  • wish-list. Provides options for creating your own wish-list (and then showing it to your friends, relatives, boy-friend…);
  • sale, sale and once again sale. It sounds so sweet!

Hey, are you still reading this? It is time to buy something. :-)

I think today it is no use to tell you about something having no relation to the Oscar ceremony. Now, I just would like to give your more photos from my friends and to put a big full point and forget about this great show till the next year.

Let’s start from the most interesting part (for us, fashion-lovers) of this commercial event. So, red carpet hits and misses are to your attention from my beloved blog Couture In The City. Please, enjoy another point of view, not so strict and much more grounded.

Jessica Alba oscar Jennifer Garner oscar

And another vision of the best and worst dressed from the ChicIntuition Blog. Some great dresses that many critics either forgot to mention or gave them too low rank.

Oscar best dressed

Now, I would like you to have some rest from the Oscar’s and get acquainted with my new friend – Beauty -Tyrant Blog.  They have a great post about the Oscar’s as well, but it will be just too much of them, so, may be it will be more useful to Learn how to bleach and highlight your hair in the same way as most celebs make it.

Jennifer Lopez honey colored streaks

And the last thing about the Oscar’s – Oscar Cuteness from Mahalofashion. Really cool blog, and cute stories! And such moments, make this show not only about ads and PR, but about people’s happiness, love, great job and victories.

10 ways to be stylish. Part 2

Fashion victim

  • Don’t be a fashion victim! Just because something is in style and trendy, doesn’t mean it’s right for you, your figure, face, type of skin, character and your lifestyle. Be honest and realistic about the shape you are in and your body’s general proportions to avoid looking like a fashion victim. Dress smartly to camouflage figure flaws and spotlight figure assets. Adapt your clothing choices to flatter your figure. Put things in such a way in order to look stylish and irresistible!
  • Hair and beauty! Style doesn’t stop above the shoulders. Be stylish doesn’t mean to wear something from D&G. Remember!!! There’s no excuse not to adapt a fast, five-minute, natural make-up routine that can get you out of the house looking refreshed everyday. There’s no better quick fix makeover than a great haircut to look modern and renewed. Don’t forget to shape your eyebrows, too! Too often, woman forget to invest the effort in their overall beauty regime and wind up looking terribly dated and dull. Find out more about your type and complexity!
  • Love your fashion awakening! Take a good look at yourself and be proud that you know you look the best that you can each day. Explore your personal style and constantly tweak your look to stay modern. Never settle for mediocre when you can look marvelous. Let your confidence soar—you did it!
  • Understand the fine line between modern and trendy! Adapt to trends to keep your wardrobe and image fresh. If you are on a very strict budget, shy away from super-trendy items that will be out of style in a quick fashion minute. When you do want to spurge on a cute, trendy piece, find a cheapie fast fashion version that you know you will only wear a few times.
  • Find your fit! One of the secrets have to looking chic, is a tailor. Take the time and effort to have your clothes altered to fit you perfectly. A little nip and tuck here and there can be the difference between looking dumpy and looking dynamite. But don’t expect total tailoring magic if something is simply not the right cut for you. Understand your shape and dress for it.

Chic and stylish girl

  • Believe that you ARE beautiful! Beauty is subjective and arbitrary. Looking glam and beautiful is a state of mind, multiplied by some efforts to make the most of what you have! Believe in yourself, feel that you are beautiful and you will be! As a result, your self-confidence and self-esteem will boost to an incredible height!
  • Don’t make fashion idols! No doubts, most of us want to find the fashion medium between Jennifer Lopez and Kate Moss, also to possess Angelina’s Jolly face and her husband, sing as Madonna sings, earn money as Bill Gates earns and not to became puzzled! But, it’s impossible to make a decent mix from all these or to adopt their style to your curves, adding your own personal funk and as a result to look like a newborn star! The most suitable way is to find a fashion icon that inspires you and take note of how her personal style stands out and what you can do to make it yours!
  • Educate yourself! Flip the pages of fashion magazines, check out designerrunway photos, window shop in the most stylish stores, take a walk around the trendier part of your town, and just plain soak it all in. Immerse yourself in style until you actually get the difference between what is blah and what is stunning. Soon, you will be able to hone in on what would look fantastic on you.
  • Make the from what you’ve got! Surely, your entire wardrobe isn’t a complete fashion disaster. It may be as simple as understanding different ways to mix pieces that you already own with a few great, new fashion fixes to truly upgrade your style. Think out of the box and pair the unexpected for stylish results. Don’t afraid to make experiments and try new fashions! Ask a reliable friend/boyfriend/mum to evaluate your appearance!
  • Set your limits! They say, don’t go to the supermarket on an empty stomach, well, don’t go shopping for a new wardrobe totally clueless, without having a confident decision what to buy. Have a mental list of what you actually need and stick to it. This way, you won’t be lured into buying frivolous sale items that will break your budget and do nothing to enhance your total look. Temper your will and not me tempted by cheap, dowdy things!
