Marc Jacobs has always been a bit awkward and changeable, but this collection is something really unforgettable. It seems to be a mix of trends, colors, styles and fabrics. Everything started with nice gray silhouettes, classic pants and ended with football shoulders and bold bright acid colours.

You can feel free and examine your mamma’s and even grannie’s closet. You’d better pay your undivided attention to velvet, scarves, satin topper coats, cardigans and flannel pants.

As to other features, the collection is full of neon-hued things, simple chic and doom eighties spirit. His fashion is outrageous and brave … do you like it?

The show itself was hot and very touching, the performance was accompanied by Regina Spektor piano play. Think of taffeta skirts and ornaments of all kinds, tweed coats, beaded shearling vests, accessories, Russian style … a classic decadence is coming.

For example, the one that has been seen during the show – Yves Saint Laurent Besace Flap Bag ($1,995).

I simply love their rock’n’roll-rebellious and careless attitude to life.

There was one “great” debut at New Fashion Week 2009 – Victoria Beckham has presented her first fashion collection.

The entire collection consists of just 10 dresses and approx. cost of each is  between $1.800 and $3.800. The outfits are based upon her own style and fashion vision of Roland Mouret, creator of the famous ‘Galaxy Dress’.

The dresses are made from luxurious fabrics. Main colours are neutral, black, navy. According to Victoria her main aim was to create such dresses that will help any woman look hot and stylish and from any angle.

Her clothes are unexpectedly modest. But Posh Spice is sure, if one would like to look hot and sexy, she just need to undo the bow.

Sorry, Posh, but to my mind, these dresses are nothing special. What do you think???

The collection was so hot: sleeves, various fabrics, ruffles, folds and origami prints.

Jean Paul Gaultier Couture Fall 2008

It was one of the most unusual collection of the season. Everything was fresh: fabrics, silhouettes, colours.

Which collection you like the most???

Claudia Schiffer looked a bit unusual (I mean not in her usual way). She has some resemblance to a secretary, but I like her look.

Eva Mendes – the combination is OK, just don’t like her shoes, too much of sparkles and hair-do.

Linda Crater has impressed me. She looks stunning and fresh. Yellow is her colour.

Liv Tyler. Well, like her dress but to my mind, it’s better for her not to leave it somewhere… she can have some problems with all these stripes. 

Who looks the best???

Unfortunately, my beloved Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen was absent ((( but young designers didn’t fail, they tried their best and showed us really hot collections. The spring/summer 2009 collection was devoted to the theme of recycling, Rio Fashion Week offered a fresh new outlook to fashion. Main motto: “Rethink, Recycle, Renew”. The event will end June 13th.

The first designer to enjoy is Maria Bonita Extra with her lovely elegant silhouettes, flowers and hats. Charming )))

Now it’s time for Mara-Mac fashion show and their Grecian Goddesses and emphasizes of beautiful women body. Love the belts and white colours )))

Australian Fashion Week (AFW) 2008 started on Monday in Sydney. Gone are the days when this fashion week brought nothing but smiles. Nowadays, it is a real kingdom of both glamour and luxury, thus, 13 of the world’s most popular models came in Australia in order to show the spring/summer collections from stylish Australia and the Asia Pacific designers.

And now, how do you feel about enjoying Nicola Finetti spring/summer 2008 fashion collection? Actually, I liked it: white, neutral light fabrics, yellow (that is the main trend of the season), short skirts and dresses (the only one thing, sometimes even more than short and this shortness can cause some problems, for example, while sitting down…), unusual and asymmetrical patterns on clothes, high-waist dresses, really big belts with buckles, frills, one-shoulder dresses, high and volume hairdos, thorough eye make up…

She hasn’t changed a lot, the Red Label collection was launched in 1994 to offer apparel in Westwood’s imitative style to a wider circle of people.  The emphasize is made on Westwood’s never-dying interest in Savile Row tailoring and French couture clothes.

The Red Label is created for those who not only want to look stylish, but adores something unique and innovative, multiplied by a traditional British sense of style.

The inspiration of this collection was the young women of the 1970’s and it is full of very short dresses, mini-skirts,extremely big buttons, blazers etc.

The show was opened with a model wearing shocking (for the show!) and widely-recognized “Guantanamo Orange” underpants. And it was only a beginning, then the audience saw a girl with a placard protesting for the rights of all prisoners at Guantanamo.
