Please, don’t underestimate the power of furniture.Especially when it comes to a bedroom.Your bedroom furniture should be expensive. You’ve got me right, only furniture can show how rich and stylish you are. You’d better save some money on linens or curtains but not on your sofas and beds. It is very important to understand that contemporary furniture is a key to success, because it makes your lady’s sanctum look super glam and chic. Let the bed become an expression of your own style and vision of the world.

The next thing you should pay your attention to is – flooring. Buy some nice area rugs or something like this. They will add some pizzazz to the overall style of your bedroom, they can make look it luxurious and sophisticated even if it isn’t.

• symmetry

Think of symmetry and keep this option in mind while arranging everything in your room. All things should look great and symmetrical together.

In case you don’t have enough money to buy an expensive artworks, you can do it on your own. Create a kind of thing that you will like, that will express your feelings and emotions.

If you are going to spend your Hen Do at home, you should think about a lot of things. Fore example – invitations (make small cards and send them to everybody you would like to see during your party). Decoration. Your house should look festive and nice and it doesn’t matter that the following event will last only one night. Use heart balloons, confetti and banners. Organization. And that is the key point. I don’t think either you or your girls want to be bored to the death at the party, so think about discussions and games and contest beforehand. Love Punch. Don’t even try to forget about it!!!

Abroad!

And may be you would like to arrange your party abroad? It will be a kind of unforgettable event. For example, I have been always dreaming to visit London … I mean not from the tourist side, but from the side of a real party-goer, to feel London vibes and to taste it …

How about London Hen Night? In such a trip you and your girls will discover the greatest capital in the world. London offers the nightlife you are looking for. It is not a secret, that I, my dears, was interested in dresses and now I am ready to share my thoughts with you.  

So, the best dressed were:

Kate Bosworth was gorgeous in her unusual Pierre Hardy shoes and her aqua eyes make up made me put her on the first place in my list.

Claire Danes in her simple, yet chic and glam dress with incredible back.

Naomi Watts looked incredible in her long white gown with this cool star.  

Dita Von Teese in her strapless, feathered dress. 

Christina Ricci in a cool heart dress. It perfectly emphasizes her great body.

And now, the worst dressed were:

Thandie Newton’s long lace cardigan spoilt her brilliant Chanel dress.

Scarlett Johansson. Of course, we congratulate her on the engagement. But something was definitely wrong with her dress.

Victoria Beckham looked a bit old-dated and boring in this dress. It made her look older.

Karolina Kurkova’s dress made me think that she was pregnant.

Amber Valletta in her sci-fi dress looked a bit awkward.

The first and the most interesting thought is about my beloved friend Couture In The City and Mother’s Day, thanks to them we perfectly understand that this day comes only once a year, and you have to choose only the best  Mother Day gifts.

Now, hello from my friend ChicIntuition blog. Thanks to them we can’t but find out who Miranda Kerr is. She is a cool model dating Orlando Bloom of course! And sometimes her ensembles are charming, for example this one – Miranda Kerr Chic.

Then, as usual I found new friends, the first one is Tiger Tem blog. It is hot, fresh and full of great ideas. Very inspirational. I like their article about one of the most long-awaited movie Sex in the City. Great!!!

Thanks to our beloved celebs we can forget about boring (at least sometimes) watching of fashion shows, just one look at a few of them and we perfectly know, that:

• strapless dresses are on the top of popularity. For example, Eva Mendes was stunning in this bold blue gorgeous YSL dress. It was her first time at the Metropolitan Opera Gala and she did it great. 

• bright colours, something like Diane Kruger dress or Leighton Meester super bold yellow gown

• bright colours and ruffles, the more the better, enjoy Rinko Kikuchi YSL gown

• high-waisted pantsuit, enjoy Naomi Campbell

• high-waisted, ruffled dresses with bows

Today, I would like to share with you photos of dresses from 3 great designers. The first one is Carolina Herrera.

It goes without saying, that her dresses were elegant and touching. Herrera’s dresses are for real princesses that are ready to become Queens. Thus, we can enjoy a plenty of various ruffles, satin sashes,  white palette, ribbons and organza.

Oscar de la Renta paid homage to white and ivory tones together with soft grays. What I like the most about his dresses, they are sparking, in the literal meaning, shiny crystals are embellished the top of the gowns, thus, making them, elegant, sophisticated and still refined and chic. These dresses are real glam dresses. Ivory silk strapless gowns with crystal embroidered belts make me think about marriage.

And the last portion of dresses comes from Reem Acra… If you are gaga over whimsical wedding dresses, you are welcome here. This woman offers a unique vision of your special day. So strange and unusual! Why? Because we are talking about vintage… It seems to me that she is telling us: have fun and relax, take it easy!

As a rule, I am going to propose you reviews of my beloved blogs and a couple of new friends. Couture In The City tuned me and told me more about Top Fashion awards Winners. Have you known that fashion icon Kate Moss was named the best-dressed women, so Glamour Magazine put her right at the top of their list. What is more, sad to say it, but 2007 winner Kylie Minogue is only on the 19th place this year.

It is all because of spring, but I can’t take my eyes off this incredible colour (despite the fact  that this colour is not mine at all). Sexy pink lips… Oh, juicy colours. If you are pink obsessed and even if you are not, anyway, enjoy some ChicIntuition fave pink pouters.

Now, my 2 new friends: I Heart That Blog, first of all, I like the title and then the stuff there. Really cute photos… For example, why not enjoy Lindsay Lohan in this Rory Beca sweater in Charcoal?

And the second friend MyLookBook, oh, I can’t get enough of their fair and very funny comments. It is a kind of blog you can get lost for hours and forget about everything. Thanks, dear friends!
