This young Barbadian recording artist and model was recently honored with the 2009 Glamour’s Woman of the Year award. She has not only contributed extraordinarily to the entertainment industry, but is also an optimist and encouragement to fatalities of domestic violence. Rihanna is a young chanteuse who showed the courage to raise hands against the abuse of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and also runs a foundation named Believe for underprivileged kids.

But this stunning young sensation definitely needs a proper stylist. While appearing at the 2009 Glamour Woman of the Year Awards she looked dazzling and spectacular in a light taupe color Stephane Rolland mermaid semi-transparent gown. But I think her stylist must not have thought that the gown must have been a see-through gown that showed off one of her boobs. At the ceremony she deserted her androgynous style for this glittery and dazzling mermaid gown. And believe me she was looking just sizzling even with a nipple-bizarre. Her new blonde hairstyle just rocked at the center of her head. Well I think she just looked opulent and magnificent in this semi-transparent mermaid dress. What do you think?

Hello, hello, not so far there were named 10 Most Stylish Stars of 2007 from the “OK! Magazine”. So, the list looks in this way:

Katie Holmes. She is the Most Stylish Star of 2007. She is a stunning actress, a nice wife of Tom Cruise and became a real pillar of fashion. She is not just a shadow of her famous husband, she is a fashionable star herself.
Kathryn Heigl. She became a superstar on the red carpet in 2007. She has matured from a simple a young girl into a very stylish women. No matter the event, she is always on the top.
Gwen Stefani. She is still brave while mixing styles and trends.
Kate Moss. She is not just a model she is a fashion icon. But she really looks fashionable and her fashion sense is perfect.
Rihanna. This year was very successful, she was on top chart-positions and gained a popularity as a stylish women.

Diet Coke – Stylish Way to Health or Death?

Today, my dear fashion-lovers, I even don’t have enough time to say “Hello!” to you. Why? Because, I am writing about one of the most controversial and the most doubtful drinks of the century (and of the previous century as well!) – Coke. Actually, it has no connection to style and fashion, but after a closer look, you will understand, there is no style, glam and fashion without you and you have to be healthy. Because, a sound mind in a sound body.

I am not a fat person and have never been crazy about diets, but I adore Coke (used to adore, before this post) and prefer to enjoy its taste instead of thinking about health impact. But, the following information has changed my opinion. Diet Coke is called DIET, ’cause it is aimed to make your thinner, healthier and more attractive and what do we have in reality? It is highly promoted in mass media, it is a sponsor of various sport tournaments and activities. It is the 4th commonly consumed carbonated drink in our world and even a corporate partner of FIFA. Reasonable evidence of its popularity and no suspicions. But, the world is not a Disney Product, we have to face the truth:

Coke is black water with synthetic chemicals:(just some of them: caramel colour, citric acid, carbonated water, aspartame and caffeine etc.) Also, it is said, that natural flavours are added to it. I don’t know how natural they are, but I’ve got a lot of doubts as to their naturalness.
Coke is aimed to help people lose weight and in fact, it has calories and because of its sweeteners prevents you from getting a feeling of satiation, moreover, Coke can block your ability to burn fat, thus, it is a common knowledge, you will feel tired throughout the day and will be extremely hungry.

So, next time, before drinking a can of Diet Coke think about health and remember, that you are not a fool, and very often successful marketing strategies can substitute medical facts, don’t let them pull your leg!

My blog is called Glamorous fashion. Here I write about fashionable boys and girls, about the latest trends and directions, about fashion icons and victims. And only today I realized, that I have never thought about the original meaning of this word. Now, glamour is one of the widely used words, everything can be glamorous from a person to his or her hat! This word has almost lost its initiative meaning – it was an act of casting a spell in order to change things. But, nowadays, if something is glamorous it means that it is sexually attractive, beautiful and amazing as well.

There are even several ways of this word spelling – it can be written either in this way – glamour! Or in this way glamor! It can be met in a great number of books (mainly science fiction) and denote a lot of notions.

So, there is no unanimously view onto this term, but one thing is known for sure, anti glamour and megaglamour do exist. The following examples can perfectly emphasize my idea!
