Oh, dear, may be something is wrong with my eyes, but to my mind this photo looks neither attractive nor even eye-pleasing. As far as I know, advertisement must provoke us to buy this or that item, but this ads photo makes me, first of all, feel sorry for Posh and David (’cause his reputation is extremely important as well) and then to run away from Marc Jacobs stores.

Why? Because Victoria looks a little bit scary. Everything is in disorder. Her too bronze skin, her too slim body, and especially this stupid hair-do. I can’t believe, may be Jacobs hates her so much, he is ready to forfeit honour?

Anyway, dear, this photo looks awful together with you. Sorry (((.

Fall/Winter 2008/2009 Collection New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week 2008 is the main focal point of this week. I have already written about some of collections and if those trends and fashion brands failed to satisfy your taste, I am sure that you will find things that you are looking for from the following collections:

Then come Marc By Marc Jacobs Autumn/Winter 2008/2009 Collection. The collection is very bold, bright, full of various dresses, headbands, stripes, sunglasses, main colours are: black, pink, green and a new absolute favorite – yellow. Big congrats to Marc, more than nice!

And, of course, I cannot but mention DKNY, oh, lovely: a lot of dresses, half-sleeves, high-waist, red and all its variants and tones, I found it here – FashionMagDaily.

Marc Jacobs is always hot and scandalous. Do you remember? You cannot hide an eel in a sack a truth will out, the same with his talent. We still can’t forget Victoria Beckham ad campaign and now THIS campaign, and these fabulous celebrities are naked for Marc… or may I have to mention that it is campaign against skin cancer?

Victoria Beckham was the 1st who claimed the necessity to protect your skin and especially skin of children. She perfectly understands how urging this problem is.

Actually, Beckham is not the one worth our attention. Other naked celebrities on T-shirts are: Eva Mendes, Heidi Klum, Naomi Campbell, Dita Von Teese, Joss Stone and Helena Christensen.

Oh, we have a perfect opportunity to enjoy Victoria once again. This time (actually, as many times before) Posh failed to overcome her temptation and was eaten by a MJ shopping bag . . . it’s a hoot!

Marc Jacobs favourite ad campaign photographer Juergen Teller perfectly knows his deal, the ad is funny, sincere and it hit the nail on the head.

Really funny, Posh in a shopping, bag, then shows her head out of this shipping bag and finally stepping out of a gift box. Victoria Beckham was made a product and she still doesn’t care. Amazing hunger for fame!

Marc Jacobs Christmas Hot Arabian Party

As a rule, most Christmas parties are dull, predictable and obligatory include open bar and cheese platters. But, Marc Jacobs ruins the stereotypes and makes everything right on the contrary. His annual costume bash before holidays is always of the top of popularity, importance and interest. He hosts this party together with Robert Duffy.

This time everything took place in the Rainbow Room, that was successfully transformed due to the evening’s Arabian Nights theme. Actually, there was an open bar (5 open bars if to be precise), a large revolving dance floor, various dwarfs, Persian-theme tableaux vivants, fortune-tellers, dervishes.

According to Duffy he wanted to do St. Petersburg when the czars were still ruling. But, it was too difficult and most people wanted to get kind of naked. So, the party was cheerful, glam and exciting.
