You are welcome to give a warm invitation to a completely new list of best-dressed celebrities from Vanity Fair Experts. Style gurus from the magazine were unanimous – the Obamas are the most stylish celebrities.

Frankly speaking, I can’t agree more, Michelle is amazing and mesmerizing, also she is very brave in her style choices. She is always glam, fresh and is definitely a trend-setter and not a trend-follower. I adore her cardigans, pearls, Lanvin sneakers and belts.

Carla Bruni-Sarkozi occupies the second place. I think she is simply a copy-cat, with a bunch of great stylists.

H.H. Sheikha Mozah of Qatar. She is a wife of H.H. the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and a very stylish woman.

I love Michelle Obama and her unusual style decisions, she always looks incredible, dare and a bit provocative. Any outfit of hers looks anything but boring. and she definitely has a great style of her own, but as to me the following sleeveless yellow dress looked a bit awkward in comparison to completely neutral colours of the other outfits. Actually, I don’t have something against this dress, I simply think it doesn’t fit this particular occasion. What do you think?

Michelle Obama Spring Fashion: Lanvin Snickers

The 29th of April was about to be a usual day for the First Lady. And there was even a generosity vibe about it – Michelle Obama was volunteering at a D.C. food bank. How touching, yeah?! She was wearing a budget cardigan and capri – her usual casual style. So close to people and ordinary Americans. However, she missed one detail – most celebrities and fashionistas would die for her trendy cutting-edge Lanvin snickers for $540.00.

These sneakers – come in two colour versions, the following one as was spotted on Michelle is suede, with grosgrain ribbon laces and metallic pink toe caps. The sneakers have been a best-seller during spring 2009. BTW, they are out of stock in many fashionable stores.

I just wonder, whether such expensive shoes are appropriate for the occasion?
